News from the Nursery

During a workshop lasting several days, the nursery workers learned how to graft trees and shrubs, especially fruit trees. The resulting seedlings are then planted in the nursery.

Normally, the seedlings are purchased, which entails high costs for the nursery. The workshop enables the workers to produce the seedlings themselves, thereby generating an additional source of income for the nursery.

Later, this knowledge will be shared with interested farmers.
